The article extract contrasts two modes of deposition, in shear- or fault-hosted hydrothermal systems.
Unfortunately, I see no evidence that Sage's Jacobus is shear- or fault-hosted at all. So the answer so far as I see is "not applicable".
However, looking to the south just across KXL's property, ATV's Mud Lake property is definitely both shear- and fault-hosted. In that case, if it operated for long periods in the seismogenic regime (i.e. the fault frequently got stuck and released), then this paper tells us that the gold deposition would be more concentrated there.
And, so, was Mud Lake operating seismogenically for long periods? The ancient seismic regimes associated with the Mud Lake fault zone are unknown to me. If anyone knows ....
