True ! Good reminder. Interesting...If I recall correctly..PRB is in the middle of both deposits..and at surface! I believe the Thurber enviromental report suggested starting at surface to reduce the strip ratio. That being said, their is lots of Chromite in other countries around the world.

To me the Chromite..is now pretty low value...but ! By proximity to surface PRB deposit should do well. When you strip mine the surface you invariably lose the edges you can't get to ! So PRB's deposit is a must have...or you lose to much ore.

Start with PRB and then move lower into other deposits. PRB also has terrific grade..whats it worth...?
