Well I still haven't seen the voting documentation. I know I will be voting no, just in case there is a sufficient uprising, I wouldn't want to jeopardize it.

The comments of Armstrong about Gold going down to 600 or so may be a good insight, but I think that will only hold for as long as the general mass holds the American dollar or equivalent software currency as the only strong currencies. However if it ever wobbles, then i think gold will come back with a vengence and that is why the eastern countries are gathering or hoarding the real gold.

I find it odd how it seems that everything that the west has created seems to have been passed onto the other parts of the world. Ie manufacturing, and any other real value goods, etc. I'm guessing because it is thought that we only need to manage things and we will therefore remain in the top tier. However by doing this we are passing of all things of value to others, and I am sure that they will learn or already are as capable managers as us in the west.

For this reason, I still believe of gold as a tangible asset that can be used world wide as something that will hold value and not something that depends on belief.
