While gold got hammered yesterday, I was both encouraged and amazed to see probe only down 4 cents or 2% on the day. Probes SP has demonstrated an asymmetric price elasticity with respect to the price action in gold over most of the last year with the exception of the last week or so. What I mean is, whenever ther was a sell off in gold over the last year, Probe usually sold off by a much larger percentage but would barely recover on large rallies in gold. Yesterday's price action suggests that this relationship has changed in favor of strength in Probes SP over that of gold.
