If both Probe and Cliff are negotiating then why do they need to make anything public? Nothing is official until a contract is created and signed. Negotiations are confidential and are typically covered by non-disclosure agreements. Dave has set his price for BC now it’s up to Cliff to respond. If Cliff sends an official offer letter then I believe Dave is required to make this public. When they negotiated with BMO nothing was made public until Dave signed the agreement. When we have an official response from Cliff it will be made public. The ball is in their court.
