Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
Willy- over the years I have appreciated your knowledge and integrity- so just to respond to your comments-
First- let emphasize that I am very positive and, perhaps, still foolishly optimistic about LBSR. Not necessarily its prospects- but at least its potential- with maybe its prospects now a little improved.
But as for BG- I actually have no personal animus towards him- God knows- have never met the man and barely have we even heard his voice or seen his face except for that sad little promotional video. Certainly nothing but boilerplate NR's with little real substance.
But if I seem not happy with his actions and policies- guilty. Firstly, he hadn't exactly covered himself in glory with his treatment of Jim Briscoe. He has shown nothing but utter contempt for we "regular" shareholders. And as far as putting his own money into the company- so far that hasn't shown itself to be any big favor. See- no progress towards drilling or any joint venture- see a reported past Hx of failure at concluding deals and possibly even undermining deals that actually were in progress- and importantly, see a PPS that has only plummeted since his vaunted R/S until it's reached a sad level at which apparently someone wants it kept.- So- while all his bucks may have enhanced his position with the Company- it hasn't done much for we shareholders. At the current PPS- there isn't much difference between the lights being on or off.
As for "whining and bad-mouthing"- my preference has always been for a respectful dialogue and exchange of ideas. But at least for me- there has never been any access or response- even after numerous attempts. And so, as you joked with VP- if at all "helpful" maybe BG got tired of listening to it and decided to vacate his position ( although not the company).
So- in a positive vein- it is my fervent hope that he will be replaced- not by some lackluster syncophant or lackey- but rather someone new from the outside with the mining/exploration and business skill set- and maybe connections- and maybe even attatched to a new partner- to advance all our prospects and finally- finally get to drilling Hay Mountain.
