Correct.  "Now" is the operative word.  Because you did not put the period in that sentence after the word "exist" it suggests that you too can see the possibility of change.  Maybe you did not intend that, so excuse me for taking you as the classical application of logic would dictate.   

In any case, I don't accept that change is impossible.  It's not in my DNA.
