Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
Bjeff, another of my long-time contacts in the industry sent me bit of information this morning which strongly refutes your contention that major producers would at all have any interest in LBSR at this time.
The following link is to an Australian analyst/broker article dating from just two weeks ago. While the author does acknowledge increasing mergers and acquisition activity by major copper producers, the majors are targeting junior companies having proven reserves capable of becoming producers in the "near-to-medium" term.
By the writers observed parameters, then, LBSR at this stage has two strikes against its likelihood to be of interest to any major copper producer AT THIS STAGE.

I've now offered two pieces of evidence to support my opinion, while you continue to talk through your hat. Let me repeat, LBSR without reserves of any measure will never be of interest to majors - drilling first. And that will most likely require a partnership with a junior producer-explorer. Focusing elsewhere is lost effort. More importantly, it is lost money.
