Hey, guys, don't you think it is hard to know when a prospective partner is no longer interested?  How would you know?  Do you think any of them would say, "Thanks for your phone call, Brett, but we are no longer interested?"  That does not happen.

It could be that one or two are laying low waiting for someone else to make an offer before they come forward to top it.  We can't know.

The flip side of that is possible, too, meaning that an offer or offers could be in hand, but the company has not accepted one.  If you are not on the BOD, you can't know.  Let it rest, please.
