I'm sorry, I'm not sure I follow. If the purchase price is based on a certain average of the share price prior to the transaction date, the purchase will be AT A DISCOUNT to that average, lf so the buyer can sell for less than the earlier market price, and make a profit even as their selling drives the price down for a while.
