Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
"...the underlying porphyry copper system may be larger than anything so far discovered in Arizona."
BHP, as part owner of Resolution Copper at Superior, Arizona, was at one time years ago saying in Australia (where they are based) that the discovery there, below the old Magma mine, constituted the largest copper discovery ever. Since then, more copper has been discovered along trend for many, many miles SSW of there.
Now, I know JB to be both optomistic and conservative in his choices of words, so how one defines "discovery" and where Resolution is legally/technically in this process would be the only limitations I would have on conceptually visualizing the above quoted statement.
In other words, will or will not Hay Mountain Super Project eventually eclipse the value of what BHP & Rio Tinto own in Resolution Copper?
Putting the cart before the horse here as there has been no drilling to support what JB sees, while much has been done at and near the old Magma mine workings. That said, I will gamble on LBSR over doing the rational thing - buying BPH and/or Rio Tinto.
And, yes, it's a gamble. This is not suitable for retirement funds!
