Thank you for expanding on your thinking in the post above, and the one following it.

Despite what the horse said, or meant, I will step aside pending a reply from management. I suspect that some of my confusion is related to semantics. If so, I don't want to be the one translating approaches to language (and analytical lab processes) between parties who are members of the same camp.

I am confused enough. Thinking only makes it worse.
