VP, I agree with you on everything related to McCain, but on the issue of Congress, you are partially correct. Congress can pass whatever they want, but there needs to be 60 votes in the Senate to over come a filibuster, and in truth they need 67 votes to overcome the veto. That doesn't mean they shouldn't attempt it to put people on the record, but the reality is that Congress can only really take regulatory power away from these agencies once they have the White House and 60 votes in the Senate as well as maintaining control of the House.
