I prefer Italian sausage in my lasagna, or at least a lean ground beef spiced up, but have you ever made it with vegies?
Try this:
Yellow squash, tomatoes, zucchini, carrots, black olive...all sliced very thin and your favorite red sauce or even Newmon's Own Vodka Sauce.
I always use Riccotta with or without the eggs blended in, and fresh mozzarella that comes packed in H20.
It's not bad...
