Did you ever listen to Shepherd on the radio...during the primitive period? Like Bob and Ray, he was on in the wee hours, too.

He had a way of putting off the resolution of a story which created some suspense....and a bit of annoyance to someone who didn't want to listen another hour for the kicker. :>). I can remember falling asleep in the car in front of my house while listening to him after a 5 hour job at some roadhouse.

Sadly, like the man said, "You can't go home again." But I try...I try.
