I agree on the bulk of your post regarding possible time frames etc. What I don't understand is this:

How does individual posters speculations and of sharing thoughts and opinions become equal to "a need"? Why is it that posts of the opposite opinion or thought are considered reality and these are a need?

Frankly I don't think anyone knows one way or the other and "it's all just speculation and opinion." I trust DM will look out after their own best interests and therefore ours.
