My post was tongue and ckeek. It was making the point that if Putnam was telling us they have contracts that make it contigent upon receipt of items by the cumstomers, that was bad for the company...
Even those who deal in perishable goods,(like grapes, fruits, produce, etc.), do not accept reciept by the customer as a condition precedant to performace by the customer of their obligations under the contract. They merely buy insurance to cover the contingency that the products won`t be recieved by the customer in a satisfacotry form...
