You are right. Many times we forget those that loose their homes, possesions, and even worse. We went through it with our daughter as she made it out of New Orleans with only a notebook computer and two days clothes -- car, apartment, and all else was looted to zero value.

Now, she`s got a Masters from Tulane and a good job working with the LA State Health Dept. Time does heal, but you can bet she will not leave a thing in NO if she has to leave this year during the storm season -- she bought an SUV just for the occasion.
