Notice number 4 under settlement and number 4 under arrangement--a settlement is an adjustment of business affairs or disagreement--an arrangement is usually used as preparatory measures, plans, preparations. There is most likely a reason that they used different words to describe the different agreements. JMO, settlement seems to have a more final meaning and the parties seem separate. Arrangement seems more like laying the ground work for working together in the future. Google, settlement, final and separate? Mivatek, arrangement, preparing to try to work together in the future?
