Pursuant to this Court’s February 2, 2016 Order Granting Stay, Defendant
ArcSoft, Inc. hereby notifies the Court that on July 8, 2016, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (“PTAB”) for the United States Patent and Trademark Office granted Joint Motions to Terminate Pursuant to Settlement Inter Partes Review (“IPR”) of e.Digital’s U.S. Patent Nos. 8,306,514 (“the ’514 patent”), 8,311,522 (“the ’522 patent”), 8,311,523 (“the ’523 patent”), 8,311,524 (“the ’524 patent”), 8,315,618 (“the ’618 patent”), and 8,315,619 (“the ’619 patent”).PTAB’s Decision did not constitute a final written decision pursuant to 35 U.S.C. § 318(a). A copy of the Decision is attached as Exhibit A. ArcSoft proposes that the parties meet and confer and submit a proposed schedule for the remainder of this case and/or be allowed to present their positions regarding the schedule at a status conference.
