Not so sure your analogy is an accurate one. I get the custom house deal. It would seem to me that unless and until the patent is secured Edig has nothing to sell. Unless they made a deal that was contingent on Edig securing the patent I doubt that terms and monies have been agreed upon. Also, adding a child is not a bad thing for Edig even if this client does not end up signing a contract. We will see.
