I've discussed this topic with Fred.

Way back when, in the high flying days, don't ask me what years the CEO Woody and some after him, they used to get some students from SDSU & UCSD for a work study thing as part of their requirement towards BSEE and other tech degrees.

My chats with Fred about this and why they no longer do such was 09, 10, 11 & 12, then I never asked him again after four "we no longer have a need for this and are scaled down to a staff of 7.5"
