I bought Force Protection ( FRPT )10,000 shares, @ .088 /share shortly after reading a recommendation in theFebruary 2004 issue of EWR, Early Warning Report, by Richard Maybury. Its 5 year high hit $31.20. It was an $880.00 investment made with hopeing the Gulf war would create more business for their armored transport vehicles. It did and they expanded to produce product for a number of Govt. contracts, and were bought out eventually by GD, I believe. Of course, my exit plan started at selling 50% (5000) @ $3.00,and every time it doubled after that, in other words, another 50% (2500)@ $6.00+, and the next 50% shares ,(1250) @ $12.00+, the last shares (1250) @$20 and change (thought that was going to be the high?). A tax liability of $73k + for an investment of under $1000. I still subscribe to the EWR !!!!
