How would I know?

I've received a few PM's asking "will there be a shareholder meeting this year?"
See subject line...
To be serious, I think many feel a SH Mtg is for the purpose to drop some unknown news on us that we can cheer about. The expectation always exists when going to the event, but is that at all realistic that the company would spend in excess of $75,000 to tell 50 to 100 attendees, "guess what folks, are you sitting down, everyone's heart in good condition, cause we have blockbuster news and you are the lucky ones to hear it 1st."
Be serious...lol...they can do that for a few hundred bucks in a PR.
The main reason is to satisfy the SEC, vote yes or no for BOD members, stick with the current independant accounting firm and any other material item requiring shareholder approval, such as increasing the A/S as we did 9-17-08.
Every other year is basicaly a must, or risk being busted to the pinks.
Having said that, if there is excess cash, OK...have one yearly. Is there...nope.
Nothing anyone does not know, but if GUIDO can force an answer out of Fred, I'll get back to you.
