depends on the stipulations of the SPJ....

emit, all I can say is, SNDK settled its SPJ / 774 issues "with prejudice" as well....for all prior and current infringement matters.

Future infringement matters were not mentioned or considered...and for that, as I see things, SNDK dismissed its actions against e.Digital "with out prejudice" meaning they are standing by on guard.

I would say the same arrangements are with Apple and other defendants that settle 774 issues with out a court judgment.

IMO, for future infringement....it amounts to not much pay back...but blocking sales and stopping them at that point...to license the tech per item sold.
