Logic dictates that AAPL did not capitulate. Logic dictates that David did not slay Goliath. Although the stock did blip up a bit yesterday, the volume and small gain is consistent with both of the above. If AAPL did offer something decent to make it go away, I do not know that Anton and Fred are in the position to tell them to shove it and potentially still be dealing with this 3 years from now. All this said, things in life are not always logical. My prayers are for something along the line of AAPL saying to Handal and Fred, "we are interested in Nunchi and will try to make a deal with you for that or even possibly the whole company if you drop this flash suit. Or even better, since the company did say that Handal has been interjected into the Nunchi deal, some here speculate that IPMetrics served their purpose and the law firm is needed to finalize contracts, maybe there is a deal for Nunchi on the table with AAPL but a condition of that would be dropping the flash suit. Appple could save face by not being made out to be a theif to the public and over pay for Nunchi to make up for it. The last part of this post is not logical, just hopeful.
