A specialized size of RAM(SRAM).....they note 300 bytes....the flash memory write blocks(data segments) are 256 bytes. They size the RAM to the write blocks of the flash.

The 300 byte RAM, noted above, shoots a data stream into the 256 byte write blocks of the flash.

RAM is a requirement of the patented RAS ....Random Access System
