ya, our was deemed closed because it was tied to the kernel i think... remember, 'if they tried to open/tamper with it it would destroy it and the key to command-line getfile, ergo it very well could be bad-block oriented but also remember it was stated it ran linux as open desktop environment; i alway claimed we could run microOS along-side to encript first-run and believe our content-provider still uses it per evu.
ya encription will work hand-n-hand with fingerprints because howelse will the pull-device get authentication privelages/notice...
hmmm, however, if each device has its own fingerprint and it's decentrialized - devise 2 only needs server print 1 to allow connect n visaversa... one would think it would be easly twarted by simply giving another person the print specifics but that won't work, because its specifically inherent/hardwired, you might say, to the device and not the individuals wants...
