Message: Passwords Are Dead...Does this open door to new security tech?

"doni - 737z nice but remember how the encription patent can lock-out unix/lotus/ios/microsoft etc."

I remember that the "encryption patent" is still in play on the back burner.

For the new security patent it's not about file encryption, it's about the communication between devices or host site.

The cell structures (finger prints) of semiconductors where authentication between devices (or host site) must match or there is no communication.

After authentication there can be communication, which can then involve encrypted or non encrypted data.

emit, do you remember the topics of the past regarding e.Digitals ability of an open security system vs. a closed (eg..digeplayer) system ?

Well, IMO, this new security offering is a layer allowing an open system....where data does not necessarily have to be encrypted....if the communication is iron clad known.

With that, pass words are not dead, they are the up front entry to a security system prior to the process of authentication.
