Sleeping or submarine patents seems to pretty much describe the Flash Patents. Until the last few years, Edig did not litigate those patents. Then came the Markman set back followed by the reaffirmation process of 774 and 737. The patents are long in the tooth and we are now actively trying to get some money out of them. Per these charts, it doesn't look like the settlements will be large. Relative to the money currently in our bank account, the settlements would be very helpful and are definitely worth going after, but probably cannot be a home run. Nunchi, on the other hand, has the potential to be a walk off home run.
