IMO This is what e.Digital could do with MicroOS as per RP telling me it could be put on a chip:

As for Fusion-io being an infrienger the Flash card, so-to-speak, is more imvho a phripheral to the server; altough it's portable the server is not, so we get away from our nomenclature. Now this is not to say we can't/won't work within this new breed of servers because we'v always known the cloud is going SSD. And our algotithms will need this fast arena to flurish in.
