Alve,
I don't consider your issues lightly and I sympathize with your points. But in expressing these things sometimes we all get overboard. Do they market Nuchi? I thinlk they do and work very hard at it. Fred said so during my last visit. How long have they doing it? I do not know because they were a number of strategic considerations regarding patents that we are not privy to. Have they signed any contracts? Clearly not because we should know by now. Do they currently work with companies? Not a clue. Do they have to tell us? No. The fact is that Edig is not unique in its behavior about secrecy and communications. IBM, APPLE, to just mention two, have made a big point of not letting loose talk go unpunished.
Alve, the way you asked your questions it seemed that you were thinking more in terms of a retail commodity and less in terms of a technological innovation which, if adopted, may lock a company on the wrong side of technology for a long time and cost its life expectancy and future viability. The cemetery of firms can testify on this pont. Edig has been marketing Nuchi not ever since they talked about it but only recently after the got some patents approved. And even so, not at full throat because thay are awared that they patents stll need some adjustments and and protection that come from some other patents for which the have applied. All these thangs take time for both the buyer and the seller. If their time horizon does not coinside with ours, it is really our problem not Edig's. And I for one do not want to see them fail because they rushed things. This is my reason and not because I try hard to be the apologist for the management.
We all want news, but if there is none of it that can become public we do not get it. It's that simple. About our investments. Some people here are more successful than others. But we all have a choice to be here or to go. I know, I know all the ramifications of this statement. It is, however, the management that writes the rules on this. Do I like them? No, but it does no good to pount my chest here and complain about it. If I have a point I usually take it with the management and in the process I also lower my voice because you can say many stupid thing and regret it if you shout.
