So you`re saying that the data flow methodology from hard drive to I/O is something that APS/Henson has a lock on (i.e., it`s their proprietary tech)? And (of course) this is part of the security scheme?

If this is the case, it seems that if EDIG is now saying that they are able to acquire content from the studios direct, then they must have found an acceptable work-around for the HDD>I/O path, with comparable security in place.
