You cannot compare this event to any other, it`s too big in area, in population, and to do everything properly, you would have needed at least a week in advance of the storm.

All would have been different, and the liberal media would not be throwing stones, if the levees had held, a completely different scenario, and a much easier one to deal with, mainly property destruction and not 1 million individuals to rescue and evacuate.

Wow, I guess we need to mobilize capital and people to the tune of a few billion dollars just in case the big earthquake hit the San Francisco area. Another few billion for the LOs Angeles area. Another few billion for the Florida coast area for future cat 4-5 hurricanes.

And so on and on and on.

SOLUTION:

Stop all foreign aid for a decade and put the money into our infastructure, bridges, roads, security, etc., etc., and ofcourse levees.
