Just a little follow up. To me, the fact that many companies have settled with us for relatively small amounts has very little meaning. The settlements do not necessarily reflect the defendants opinions of the strengths of our patents. They could simply be making financial decisions and after weighing the cost of litigation with odds of a win or a loss feel it is worth it to be able to use our technology and move on. DM on the other hand, seemingly signed up for the long haul and their decision to do so WAS based on their interpretation of the validity of our patents and their belief that they could prevail in court and thereby make a bunch of money for themselves. And were willing to take the case on contingency plus expenses instead of billing a guaranteed $800-$1,000 per hour(which we could not afford anyway) Here's to DM being really bright guys in 2012.
