August 18, 2005 – BRITISH leisure carrier MyTravelUK is the latest airline to opt for the APS/Wencor digEplayer handheld IFE system.

”The introduction of digEplayer on our Airbus A330-300s aircraft has enabled us to offer our customers an even more personal service,” says Chris Bowie, the airline’s inflight product manager. “They have praised the system’s excellent picture quality and ease of use.”

Wencor CEO Brent Wood says that a number of other airlines will announce digEplayer orders in the coming weeks. These are expected to include Dutch-based leisure/charter carrier Martinair.
