The defendants limitation, "without another memory system..." means with no other memory system. They use RAM just as an example of another memory system and so they can say, "See judge...our products use RAM so we don't infringe".

Newsflash for all CO 19 defendants: ROM is another memory system that is part of the intrinsic evidence in this case. Figure 2 of the '774, irrefutably shows another memory system (Program ROM) inside the 4 corners of the patent, and crushes that limitation IMO.

I agree that the patent claim would have been better without the word "received". I never did like it and it seems unnecessary.
