Then there's that carrot dangling out there prior to or during the settlement, where the court granted 30 additional days for Samsung to "take care of obligations" and to date we don't know what that was?

Is it possible, that the approx $1.2 Mln settlement and XLA, included a clause of future payments via royalties for products to be introduced at a later date...phones, tablets etc?

In other words, a down payment then more to follow?

Who knows, as anything is possible.

Personally, I've had a hard time accepting the deal with Samsung being done for good back in Aug/Sept 2009, but that's just me thinking with no basis of fact of course.
