Yes it could be that the WAEA was slowing things up...

IMO it`s the DigEplayer that has the WAEA in a stand off mode...their previous specification of post production process...amounted to one layer of encryption to the dataloader...where it was then decrypted and transmitted for viewing...in an unencrypted state.

AS for Specialized metadata...it`s yet another layer of security that takes place at encoding(this is not yet the encryption point)....The then compressed video/audio data with metadata...is then encrypted for post production delivery....

Post production encrypted files with keys...are then... encrypted together again within a hardware scheme on the data loader along with its associated keys....

through a specialized authentication process between data loader and digEplayer....the files are passed from the data loader to the DigEplayer....utilizing the same manner of hardware encryption.

The keys for decryption of video/audio files are handled from with in the device.

In the event there`s a breach in the encryption process...the metadata that was encoded with the video/audio compression...kicks in...
