I agree, it was not said by a lawyer, who BTW, NEVER says anything the wrong way...hmmm.
I laughed because the company person used words of his choosing, as we all do in here. I'll type/talk the way I please.
Side note/OT:
In 91, Wife got in an accident, the punks fault, she was hurt, needed surgery and rehab, car repairable.
We got a lawyer, sued guilty parties insurance company, 18 months later, went to a "settlement hearing" and could not come to terms. Ended up setting a trial date, then out of the blue, before the trial...maybe 2 weeks (?) our lawyer called saying the judge wanted to see both atorney's, Wife and I in his office...we went. The judges goal was to avoid trial. An offer was put on the table 3 times that of the settlement hearing. After some discussion in private, we took the deal, and my attorney got 35% as agreed.
When we left the judges office, in the hall our lawyer said, "this is the biggest WIN I have had this year. Are you satisfied?" We said "yes, thank you."
Every settlement we reach, is a WIN in my book...and EDIG's check book.
Just words...makes no never mind to me.
