Handheld Device Market

Handheld Device Market - just how big is it and how many are infringing on e.Digital's patents?

Let's not take our eye off the prize at this point in the game. EDIG just had it's best year ever.

Remember the "Big Picture". Let's not just focus on litigation and getting bogged down on who is right and who is wrong.

This market is huge and getting bigger every day and we have a large piece of the handheld pie.

I did a quick google search and this is what I came up with. This is only the tip of the iceberg...so to speak.

Disclaimer: this search is not to say that all of the included are infringers but to show just how big the market is for such devices.

e.Digital's Flash-R™ patent portfolio covers certain aspects of the use of flash memory, addressing today's large and growing portable electronic products market. In 1993, e.Digital unveiled and began marketing the first digital voice recorder with removable flash memory, powered by e.Digital’s then newly developed MicroOS®. In 1996, e.Digital produced and began marketing the first digital voice recorder interface for downloading and managing voice recordings on the PC. The Flash-R™ portfolio is protected through the years 2014 - 2016.
