Remember, DigEcor is / was an advertiser with two of the IFE eNewsletters. As trade rags go, that fact will make most trade editors side with the advertiser as their job exists only to fill the white space between the ads. These are not news reporters or objective journalists. That stated, the article is even more damning to DigEcor, IMO.

My guess (WAG) is DigEcor seems to be backing off their strong statements. They could be baiting EDIG's legal team or they really want this mess to go away. We probably will not know until a settlement is reached and no appeals are filed. I'm certain EDIG really wants this mess and the associated expenses in real costs, executive man hours, staff hours, and general hassle factor to be long gone and in the rear view mirror.

Since Brent Wood was not the focus of the article, anyone else believe he might be giving the whip to Heckel for settlement as he moves back into the dark shadows?
