Just my opinion but I would be very surprised if either party comes out of this trial winning everything they are asking for. I believe that there is enough truth on both sides of the issue to cause the court to call it a draw and send everybody home to pay their legal bills and get on with their business. On the other hand, I am just prejudiced enough to believe our case to be the stronger of the two and that we will come out paying a small penalty for failure to deliver (which we might be able to recover from Maycom) but getting our IP left intact and the non-compete clause thrown out. Now for the disclaimer: I have absolutely no knowledge or special training that should cause anyone to take anything I have said as anything more than what it is - pure speculation. We would probably all be better off listening to our legal begals rather than speculating about those things about which we know nothing. Henceforth, I promise to follow my own advice. :>))
