I have a relationship with RP from contact over the years but I am not alarmed by today's development. I did contact him when I needed clarity as to EDIG's participation level with regards to the hundreds of millions spoken of at the shareholders meeting, as I saw that as incredibly significant.
EDIG has had a history of changes at the top. People move on for a variety of reasons...health, internal conflict, other job offers, just to name a few.
They did not bring in anyone else from the outside to replace Blakeley, instead they tapped a long time insider who has been there before. I find that quite adequate in light of the fact that this company, right now, can run itself, as DM is negotiating the current revenue flow.
With three knowns at the helm, Falk, Putnam and Cocumelli, along with the latest board addition of Polis, no signifcant exodus in managemnet occurred, imo, regardless of Blakeley's achievements.
The company is now all about it IP efforts...that's Putnam and DM.
IFE died this year and Blakeley was head of that effort. He has moved on. I think that is what it is all about.
The eVU is being resurrected to expand outside of IFE...but that remains to be seen. The company seems to think Falk can handle that effort.
Polis, who is a bigtime insider, stepped up to the board this year and that says a lot regarding expectations from insiders, imo.
I have always enjoyed your perspective and if anybody has anything to add to this, good...but I am not, at this time, going there.
Please involve yourself more on this board, as you bring a unique perspective.
