Yes, EDIG is represented by another firm, not DM. As co-owners of the patert portfolio, DM has a vested interest in EDIG and may just want to see what is up.
In addition, should Wencor want to deal on the IP license as part of a settlement, DM would want to see the paperwork, at a minimum.
Of course, this is just my speculation. I don't KNOW Richard.
