IMO, LL and OZ have it right. The market will be looking for ongoing revs and Q over Q over Q profits. EDIG seems to be heading -- if not screaming -- in the right direction. It's just when? and how much? that is being debated. That's not so bad considering the alternatives.

The baseball game analogy is fine, just the timing is a bit different, IMO. EDIG is not in the 9th inning. We are in the 2nd inning, at best. Lots of time to beat on mean ole copy cats and, at a minimum, we already have some level of validation. What that validation puts in our wallet is anybody's guess, but it is not likely to be zero knowing what we know today. For that, I am thankful.

Will a Markman win be necessary to hit that home run? I don't know, but I would guess the answer is yes.

I don't see anything LL or OZ stated that is a negative. The time line -- or the inning we are currently playing -- may be different than what others believe. It is all speculation at this point. If it were not, the pps would be over $0.50 or under $0.01. It is neither. We have to play the game and our EDIG team is in a good position with two license deals done and, IMO, more to be completed in the near term (3 to 8 months).

The issue is really what impact it has on the pps. We will have to wait on the answer, but we certainly have to see larger license deals happen or a pile of Casio and LG type license deals. If it takes a Markman win, it will be a longer time line to use flash's foot wedge at Torrey Pines.

As usual, all IMO and worth the price paid.

Many thanks all who provide DD and opines. Diversity of thought is a good thing. If we all thought the same way this would be boring. I hate boring.

Sometimes we forgot just how blessed we are -- even in these turbulant times. Things do tend to work out and we should remember those less fortunate. Take care of your friends, families, and those who could use a helping hand this Holiday Season.

Have a Great Turkey Day!

John
