While I do not disagree with your overall point of view, IMO it's LG that does not want their name out publicly let alone the amount of the settlement. I do not think that eDig cares about the who but rather the how much. In fact it could be argued that it would be to eDigs benefit to have the name out there, they just had to agree not to as a part of the settlement. Having the amount of the settlement revealed could be a disadvantage for ongoing and upcoming negotiations.
