The legal pros are not that different than other service businesses. The shortest route to a large year end bonus is to have the best hired guns on your team. My guess is DM and other large law firms are looking to ride the wave of IP litigation -- especially in light of the tabled Senate Patent Reform Act.

EDIG's case is certainly strong enough to have DM actively work it. While I doubt they will see much of a return on their investment in 2008, the longer term prospects seem to be looking better than ever for all of us KoolAid drinkers.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Willy and gang are likely working hard on new eVU deals. IMO, this could be a very good year for our eVU tech. Long term, this is not likely to be a blockbuster product to send our pps "to the moon" but it will keep us heading in the right direction without printing new shares (I hope).

As usual, we wait so we speculate.
