That's true, my son flies for American and he says the same thing, however you can't beat the price IMS is offering these pieces of sh*t to American. I have personal knowledge the main reason American selected IMS in the first place was due to IMS "practically giving away the units". I have posted this bit of info many times and it is the reason why those units stink. (No upkeep, no maintenance and a lousy product built for them by Archos who primarily makes laptops.

I have always thought the main reason IMS seems to do so much business is the price to the airlines for getting their product. I have also thought that "time will tell" and the "cream will rise to the top".
