Contracts would have to be lifetime if the data is structured under e.Digitals environment, even for contiguous linear files. Under edigs environment, contiguous would not necessarily have to be under edigs devise. However, IMO, they treat all files the same for contiguous or noncontiguous with their particulars.

The ability of the device....stop...forward ...ect....says so. Anything else other than their particulars would not work.
